A lakeside, single-family home that mixes shingle-style with country minimalism to create a space with warmth and simplicity.
To create a home with a sense of place you need an anchor. For this home, it is the lake that stretches just beyond the backyard. Capturing the beauty of the surrounding landscape was our goal from the outset of the project. On the interior, to compliment the views, we created a material palette both subtle and classic – soft whites, slate, white oak, and calacatta marble. It’s a minimalist approach to the country aesthetic. The end result is a home with a balance of warmth and simplicity.
